Studies of American Literature is a comprehensive survey literature course for juniors at Brodhead High School. Students cover a variety of American authors, such as John Steinbeck, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Arthur Miller, Laurie Halse Anderson, Jack London, Edgar Allan Poe, and many others. Students will learn not only how to critically read and interpret literature, but also they will learn how each of these authors has contributed to the unique fabric that is American literature.
